PnM071 - Queen Henrietta Maria - The consort of Charles I and a strong and forceful lady, originally from France. She was a powerful influence on Charles and the mother of the future Charles II. She was also a Roman Catholic which did not make her particularly popular in, what was then, Protestant England.
